Teach 4 Detroit is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping students in Detroit get ahead and achieve success. The present educational system in Detroit, due to restrictions on resources, is unable to adequately cater to students' needs. Every child should have the opportunity to achieve their academic and career goals. But it's very difficult to figure everything out on your own, so we've developed the Teach 4 Detroit program to help students get from where they are to where they want to be. Habitat Detroit Transforming Neighborhoods

Habitat for Humanity founded in 1977 is an international non-profit, Christian-based organization whose mission is to provide low-income families with decent, affordable housing in which they can raise their families. Vison 2020 is one of Habitat for Humanity's recent programs.

The Vision 2020 initiative has four major goals:

1.    · Enhance the economic and cultural vitality of the neighborhood/community environment.

2.   · Develop residents’ capacity for effective local governance.

3.   · Eliminate substandard housing and improve the neighborhood’s physical conditions.
